Máté Hegedus is an art enthusiast and writer based in London, England. He is currently studying BA History of Art at the Courtauld Institute of Art to pursue a career in the arts and museums sector. Mate has 4 years of experience within the operations and exhibitions department. He worked closely on exhibitions such as Rembrandt’s Light and British Surrealism held at Dulwich Picture Gallery.
His love and interest for art led him to apply for the BA program at the Courtauld Institute of Art. Mate wants to participate in the ongoing change that is happening in the art world. He considers art to be a language that everyone understands, but no one is sure how to use. Mate believes that by bringing art closer to people, and making it more accessible and open to all perspectives, people can use art to its full potential in making us understand one another better.
